So... anyway.... Snake on rockz! Yes, rocks, Amy took the shot, since we went to the seaside for my bday a whole week =D. After I went on those wave breakers or w/e u call them that are a far bit off stable ground she started yelling at me not to fall since I can't rlly swim xD but i was fine. I love rock jumping O.o (PS: this is snake with relatively short hair... since I kinda had a haircut before summer xD i look like a fat chick with long hair tho ) :

You know your stance is a little off. You're leaning back. Shoulders should be directly in line with your feet and I can tell they are not! =\

I taught archery at camp this summer. <3333 It's my favorite sport.

And... psh, arm guard? A real archer doesn't need that shit, they know how to move their arm out the fuck the way of the string. LOL

What weight is that bow anyway? I'm glad it's a recurve and not a shitty compound. =\

And another question, is that all the further you pull back? =\ Sorry I'm critiquing your stance still... Lol That arrow looks small for how far back you should be pulling. Anchor at the corner of the mouth!!!!!

Hmm stance is everything and i like arcing my shots. That foot line thing is for kids srsly like no offense, but I enjoy putting my weight on my back since it makes the arrow project to the specific chord pinch and angle i want. wasn't using a reg target in that picture, it was one of those huge polymer targets that got human shapes on xD trying head and heard shots.
Oh yea, about the arrow... those were kid bow arrows sry :< couldn't arc the shot completely else the arrow would drop so i had to suffice on my arc (reg carbon fibre arrows cost me a fortune where i live ) >.> and the armguard's uber... i can shoot loads fast... even tried something similar to barrage once on a polivynilchlorite bow i made from a pipe and entwined fishing strings =D
I'm not pro tho so what do I know? always enjoyed freestyle. Ps, compund bows blow utterly.. a friend's got one and i hate it. How the hell do you stretch the chord to your desire when those fkn wheels r there? >< i like flexing the chord at my desired angle ^^
Anchor's not important creme btw, i know a guy who anchors at his shoulders and he rlly shot an arrow through a 10cm diameter hole.

Lol Well excuse me for being taught by a level 2 archer, who was, of course taught by a level 3. Level 3 archers can only be taught to get to level 3 at an Olympic stadium. Oh, and for each level you take tests as well. Though I never took the test, I could have (and probably should) and could be a Level 1 Archer right now. I think I know what I'm talking about when I say keeping your feet in line with your shoulders and anchoring is important. It's not little kid stuff. Watch an archer in the Olympics sometime. You'll see their stances are perfect and exact to how I explained it.

Sorry, I get fired up about archery. It's the sport I do well and can beat most guys at. ^_^ WHEN THEY USE A COMPOUND! (I refuse to use them, I use recurve only)

Will u both chill? O.o like, i take archery as a leisure activity that blows stress off. I'm not an olympic archer nor was i taught, i just freestyle. I love exercising different techniques for everything ( that includes architecture) and they don't usually suck. Meh, fine you were taught, I had no former advice and that's why I don't stick to the rules. Remember, sticking to the rules is the reason the crusaders lost the war against the turks in the middle ages

Sticking to the rules is also a way to not get yourself hurt while shooting archery.

Don't be mad at me, I just critique stances because I was trained to do so. >.> Like I said, I taught archery at a girl scout camp, I needed to be strict about it for safety reasons. Don't want any little kids shooting themselves or each other. </3 That would be terrible.
